Do you support FrontPage extensions? Yes, we support FrontPage extensions. FrontPage extensions can be installed on your server. All of our hosting packages support FrontPage 98, 2000 2002 and 2003 extensions. Can I access my domain address without the "www"? Yes, you can access your domain address with or without the "www" in front of the domain name. The "www" is a tertiary domain name that isn't necessary if your nameserver is set up properly. Do you offer SSL encryption for transferring credit card information? YES!
Our servers are equipped with the latest SSL technology so your
customers can safely order your products or services online! Normally,
any text sent from your browser is sent as plain text. This means
that a hacker could potentially intercept the information sent from
your browser and read it. Can I upload pages frequently? Each account comes with an FTP/Telnet account. You have full access to your space via FTP 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The file manager in your control panel can also be used to upload pages to your site if you do not have access to FTP. How long does it take to set up my account? Your account will usually be set up within 8 hours. You will receive an email from us with your account login and detailed account information 8 hours after you sign up for your account online. What is a cgi-bin and how do I get one? A CGI-bin is where you store CGI scripts. These scripts; are used to generate online order forms, guestbooks, shopping carts, counters, and more. All Mystiblue Computing hosting packages include their own CGI-bin. Plus you can install many other scrips with just a few clicks. ( Fantastico ) What CGI Scripts come already installed? All Mystiblue Computing hosting packages comes with a hit counter, a search engine, chat rooms, a form e-mailer, and a file manager plus many more. If you are interested in adding more CGI scripts to your account, you may do so. Will my Macintosh work with my Mystiblue Computing account? Yes. Our servers use standard protocols such as FTP, Telnet, SSH, and HTTP that are compatible with Macintosh operating systems. What is the Account Control Panel? The

How fast is the Mystiblue Computing network? ( More Detail ) All of our servers have direct access to three backbones; Frontier GlobalCenter, Qwest Communications, and Genuity, a division of GTE. This means fastest speed possible and greater reliability. GC, a Tier 1 provider whose 13,000-mile fiber optic network and Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology provide an enormous 460 gigabytes per second (Gbps) of capacity worldwide, has an Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) fiber node located just a few floors below Mystiblue Computing's servers. Qwest comes into Baltimore with an OC-12 line and plans to upgrade their connection to an OC-48 in the near future. They also have an ATM fiber node floors below Mystiblue Computing's servers. Our Qwest connection enables Mystiblue Computing to offer additional redundancy and better routes to Europe, Latin America and Asia. With our carriers, our router has up to 150,000 possible routes to send each packet of traffic. Genuity, a division of GTE, is our third Tier One Internet backbone. Genuity provides excellent network performance as a result of their high-speed peering arrangements with other Tier One Internet backbone providers. The GTE global network delivers customers directly onto the Internet via a high-speed connection to its private, super-capacity backbone, including 17,000 miles of fiber and OC192 capacity. It is comprised of more than 800 U.S. local access points and approximately 1,500 international local access points in more than 150 countries. How many auto responders do I receive on my account? Answer
( Unlimited ) You can set up auto responders to automatically
respond to incoming email. For example, if you had an order form
which your customers email to you, you can set up an auto responder
to email the customer a confirmation message that their message
was received. Do you offer dial-up Internet access? No, you must provide your own Internet access. What are email aliases and how many can I use? Email
aliases are email addresses that you create. Any mail sent to these
aliases would automatically be forwarded to your existing POP email
account or redirected to another third party POP account. Can you design my web site for me? Yes. We do provide web design services. Do you have a database system? We use MySQL. We have found that our members prefer MySQL because it is a relatively easy-to-use database program. Does each virtual server have its own raw log files? Yes. You have access to your own raw log files. What version of Perl does Mystiblue Computing use? On our quest to be on the cutting edge of technology,
we are pleased to announce that we are upgrading the version of
Php on all of our servers. We will be offering Php 4.1.2, which
will allow for increased functionality. This version has been compiled
with the following options: Does Mystiblue Computing offer SSI? SSI is on all of our servers. You just need to be sure that you call your files with the .shtml extension. We
